St Mary’s school uniform is:
Grey trousers or grey skirt or grey shorts, light blue polo shirt with a collar, school logo sweatshirt or school logo cardigan, grey or white socks, black shoes or sandals in summer (not trainers, boots or fashion sandals)
Optional in summer: blue check summer dress
Children’s Hair
Long hair should be tied up/back to keep hair off children’s faces during learning and to help control the spread of head lice. All pupils with hair below their collar are expected to have it tied up for PE lessons and for practical activities where it is assessed as a risk for health and safety.
For health and safety reasons we do not allow children to wear jewellery. The exceptions to this rule are ear-ring studs in pierced ears, and small objects of religious significance. Children are required to remove any items during PE lessons to prevent them from causing injury. Please note: Teachers are not permitted to remove earrings. Hair bands, ribbons/bows or ‘scrunchies’ should be plain and practical. Hair bands should not have large flowers attached. Make up and nail varnish should not be worn to school unless for an out-of-school hours function, for example a school disco. Extreme hairstyles are not appropriate for school. The use of styling products should be kept to a minimum and children should not have decorative patterns cut into their hair or have hair coloured or dyed.
PE kit
Logo shorts/skort (summer), logo dark blue tracksuit bottoms (winter), house logo T-shirt, trainers for outdoor games, Logo PE hoodie, sky blue football socks (KS2 only)
Pupils will wear PE kit into school on days when they have PE. Parents will be informed which day this is at the beginning of the year.
Bags
KS 1 children (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2) – School logo bookbag
KS2 Children – Year 3 School logo Bookbag or School logo Backpack, Years 4, 5 and 6 School logo Backpack.

Typically, it will take between 3-5 days to complete your order and have it ready for collection.
Orders placed online can be delivered to the school free of charge if you select this option. The cut off date is Friday for orders to be delivered to the school the following week - items will be available for collection from the following Thursday.
