On Saturday 28th April St Mary's took part in the Swanage Shield, an indoor six a side football tournament for local first schools. Five schools were taking part and after the first three matches St Mary's were level on points with St Mark's who they were to play in their final game. The match was very close but St Mary's managed to grasp victory 2 -1 to finish top of the table and win the Shield. It was also a memorable day for St Mary's captain Christie Ward who won Player of the Tournament and scored all of St Mary's 7 goals! Special mention also to Sebastian, Reece and Ronny who helped St George's make up a team and showed great enthusiasm and commitment.
